Stay In Sorrento

Upon finally finding the accommodation, we looked forward to the view and doing some laundry. Unfortunately that didn’t happen as there wasn’t a view(as per the listing)or washing machine (as per the listing).To park my car it cost me 25 Eros/day in the garage. On a positive note the location was walking distance from downtown.

Lia’s family is very responsive and accommodating . The abundance of fresh fruit supplied each morning (amongst other options) was lovely. Just a short walk to city center. We would definitely stay again.

Inaccurate pictures on VRBO website

We anticipated the use of a small kitchenette and a wash machine in the bathroom. Neither were there. VRBO has much outdated photos of those rooms in the apartment and need to get those changed. It’s not right and is misleading to prospective clients. The grounds around the apartment are indeed a lovely lemon grove. The walk to the main square is about 5-8 minutes depending on going down or coming up home. The marina is just a few minutes more. Breakfast was a coupon to a local cafe which was not open until 8am. Unfortunately, we were starting our days way before that and did not have the opportunity to use them. All in all, it is a good location to access everything and still have a bit of quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city

Lovely stay

Lia and her husband were amazing hosts and the property was beautiful and in a nice location. It was only roughly a 10 minute walk to the main strip and easily accessible from the port. We were slightly hesitant to book this stay because there were not reviews but the apartment exceeded our expectations. There was no kitchenette or oven like the photos, but there was a mini fridge and we weren’t desperate for an oven as we went out for all our meals. We were given breakfast tokens for a nearby cafe that gave us coffees, juice, and pastries. I would highly recommend this stay and am definitely planning on returning in the future. Thank you Lia.
