This is a beautiful hotel and great location. Walking distance from the square with some great shops along the way. We, actually were staying for two nights and ended up staying two extra we enjoyed it so much. The staff are all very helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet was enormous something for everyone. The rooms are very clean with a big shower and all rooms have a patio. The sea view if fabulous, if you get one of these rooms you will be spoiled. Can't wait to go back next year.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Our room was beautiful, and the view of the ocean was absolutely amazing. The staff was so helpful and helped us to create a wonderful itinerary of events while we were there. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just a short walk to all the shops in downtown area, but away from all the chaos. We loved the breakfasts each morning on the beautiful outdoor terrace and the food was fantastic. The upstairs pool on the sun deck was the perfect place to relax have a drink and enjoy the views. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking in the area of Sorrento.

Excellent breakfast buffet with many, many choices, wonderful big rooms with stunning views of Naples Bay, wonderful sitting areas - garden patio, rooftop bar, etc., short walk to bustling city center made for a nice quiet and very convenient stay. The driver we booked through the hotel (Lucio) was phenominal. He got us safely to our multiple destination and took great care of us, even helping us find tour guides.

First, the hotel itself and the rooms were beautiful. The bathroom was large. The balcony had a nice view and allowed us to sit and take it in. Second and most important, the staff was so helpful and welcoming and made us feel like family. We would love to stay there again and highly recommend us.

I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. We have been traveling all over Italy and this by far has been the nicest. Very elegant. Rooms are a decent size. Always a bit tight, but there are 3 of us in the room. Breakfast buffet also impressive. Hot and cold buffet. All in all our family loved it and will be back.

Hotel was lovely, great location, staff couldn’t have felt friendlier, breakfast lovely. Only challenge was the air con was on heating and doesn’t change to cooling till May - so a warm April meant the rooms were very warm for sleeping.

Excellent hotel with amazing kind and friendly staff. The facilities were well kept and cleaned continuously so everything was sparkling. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast included a made to order egg station which is definitely a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel and would return again when in the area.

You can find fancier hotels in Sorrento but Grand De La Ville is nice enough. Better than basic. Location is good, 6-7 min walk to the center square. Free breakfast buffet is pretty good with American breakfast options like scrambled eggs and an omelet station. Rooms were generously sized. We used the laundry service for a few things and it was perfect “Garden View” rooms overlook apartment buildings… not exactly scenic but we weren’t in the room much. Only good things to say.
