Wonderful property with 17th century roots. Short walk to medieval town centre and surrounding panoramic views of countryside. Bring walking shoes since all streets are up and down, and no elevators inside buildings. Easy access to good food and wine all over town including at the Palazzo.

Parking on the street was easy. Though the steep walk uphill to the hotel would be a challenge for some, we found it delightful and hotel staff informed us that they have a luggage transfer service for people who arrrive with heavy bags. Room was lovely and the ktichenette was one of the best supplied we have ever seen, including utensils, pans, and plenty of dishes.

The property is very close to several churches, museums and the castle. Some of the ammenities like the pool, jacuzzi, spa are closed due to maintenance, and the parking lot is not on site, some walking required. The breakfast quality and selection were excellent!

I find it absurd that the rooms don’t have a bidet. It may seem like a small thing, but an American proprietor should respect the local culture and avoid Americanization. What’s the point of traveling to Italy if you strip it of its identity?
