We were pleasantly surprised with the renovated work: the shower, the sink area, the safe in the closet. The front desk staff was excellent and very welcoming. We really liked the pride and the effort of branding the "Hotel Lumberjack" with the info binder, TV remore jacket, tissue box, etc. We have recommended the hotel to friends, and we will return.

Location was great to explore all the state parks near by. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate for all tastes. The property is in need of some TLC. Rooms were clean but overall the property looked a bit run down. The small pool area was filthy. Pool was dirty and there was beer caps and bottles on the deck when we went up to use the pool on Friday.
