We were surprised by the “ folding sofa” that is a TWIN size the most. This is not what we remembered previously for a king bed cottage with fireplace and “ folding sofa”. The fire place also not much of “ fire” settings on very low and maximum 1hour(!)

The room was clean, the bed and amenities great. There were bathrobes but no slippers. They sent them on request. It was supposedly an upgrade but we could not use the patio due to its northern exposure. The heater was pretty noisy and the thermostat apparently off.

Pros: staff was friendly for the most part, food was good, showers were extremely hot. Cons: restaurant doesn't know what 'appetizers are' and deliver everything all at once. Bed was the absolute worst bed we've ever slept on and this is our 8th vacation in the past 3 years. Woke up with back pain every morning. We've vacationed in third world nations that provided better beds. They give bare minimum towels in the room so you have to ask for more. Location may be close to some vineyards but most of my choices were an hour away. I spent way too much time driving. I would advise finding your vineyards of choice on a map and getting lodging closer to those.
