A fabulous log house at the foot of Gesundaberget and Santa Claus Village

The log house is 65 m2 and air floor about 20 m2 divided into four rooms and a kitchen which 2 on the attic floor (one with a double bed and one with bunk beds). The ground floor has a kitchen, living room with dining area, shower, WC and a double bedroom. Two bedrooms in the loft, an extra bed and a double bed on the ground floor for a total of seven beds.

In winter. The cottage position and the beautiful scenery provides wonderful opportunities for rest and recreation. The distance to the lifts is about 200 m. They take you up to the top of Gesundaberget at 514 m above sea level and 353 meters above Lake Siljan. There are many who climb the mountain on foot.

In the summer. The cottage is located 3 km away from Lake Siljan lake with great swimming and fishing opportunities. Sollerö Golf Club is five kilometers away. Hiking / Pasture Lunken goes through Gesunda. Gesundaberget also offers mountain biking and downhill biking and paragliding. There is coffee, top cottage and rentals of sports equipment. The forests are rich in berries and mushrooms.

Winther and cozyness at Gesundaberget

Lovely 'Tomtelandstuga' at the foot of the Gesundaberg in Mora S, Dalarna. We (two adult and 4 kids: 17, 13, 11 and 8 yrs) stayed in the cabin from Sunday until Friday. The arrival was welcoming as the walkway and driveway was snow cleared. It had snowed half a meter a week before. The weather was indeed good and some 10 cm of additional snow fell during our stay. The cabin was nice and tidy as we arrived and we rented handkerchief and bed linen. Everything was in perfect order. The oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, kettle and the cloth-dryer in the toilet. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We spent the mornings and evening in the cabin, and in the snow and attended the Gesundaberg for skiing during the day time. We had planned to go skiing and the cabin was perfect for that. The mountain is really nice at this time of the year. And the cabin lies just some hundred meters from the lift. Twice we heated up the sauna and spent some hours there. And the snow was perfect to calibrate the body temperature in!! It was a memorable week in the Dalarna area, and we'd love to come again and stay at the same cabin. When booking this cabin, the electricity, wood and water usage is included in the price, meaning that expenditure is at a minimum. In all we're really satisfied with our stay and we absolutely would love to come back. The cabin has my best recommendations. All the Best, Símun

Süßes sauberes Häuschen mit kleinem Manko

Das Haus ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Wir haben es sehr sauber vorgefunden. Leider war es ohne die in Schweden üblichen Spikes im Winter bei Eis auf den Straßen sehr abenteuerlich zu erreichen. Igor ist sehr freundlich und war jederzeit bemüht uns bei Problemen zeitnah zu unterstützen. Das kleine Manko der Unterkunft ist, dass sich die warme Luft vom Heizen in den oberen Schlafgelegenheiten sehr staut. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit im Häuschen verbracht. Vielen Dank

Optimale Lage für einen Urlaub in Dalarna

Die Lage ist optimal für einen Urlaub in Dalarna, da sowohl mehrere Städte in der Nähe liegen, der Siljansee, und der Gesundaberg (die Talstation befindet sich wenige m oberhalb der Hütte). Viele Ausflugsziele sind in 1-2 h erreichbar. Wir waren Mitte Oktober da, das Tomteland hat in dieser Zeit geschlossen und es gibt noch keinen Skibetrieb, also waren wir recht allein auf dem Berg (obwohl es noch ein paar mehr Hütten dieser Art gab). Aber das fanden wir recht gut, hierzu waren wir ja auch im Urlaub in Schweden. Der nächste Supermarkt befindet sich in Sollerön, ein paar km auf der Insel. Die Ausstattung war recht gut, in der Küche war alles Wichtige vorhanden. Das Haus verfügt aber über keine Waschmaschine. Im Bad gibt es dafür einen Trockenschrank für Handtücher und Skikleidung. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Bettwäsche und Handtücher haben wir leihen können. Es war ausreichend warm. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war sehr gut, er war immer bemüht Fragen zu beantworten und Probleme zu lösen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Vielen Dank
