Great fresh breakfast with lots of fruit! Very helpful staff! I had a flat tire and it was a Swedish holiday so no mobile tire service. The owners actually took my flat tire off, drove it to a tire store and plugged the hole! Then put it back on my car for me!! Incredible kindness to my family.

It's a nice clean property, but extremely dated. They should provide a latching lock on the inside of the doors for safety. Also there were no black out curtains, which makes it a little tough to sleep during the Swedish summer. We did pay for breakfast but overslept by 30 minutes and there was no breakfast and nobody around to help us.That seems a little uptight to me. Overall convenient and not bad.

- Ett fruktansvärt lyhört hotell. Hörde varenda steg och allt folk sa ute i korridoren inifrån mitt rum. - När grannen spolade på toan på övervåningen lät det som att allt vatten hamnade inne på min toalett då röret kom ner från taket där. -Inga vanliga tv kanaler på tv:n utan bara Netflix utan inloggning och RauktenTV. - Frukosten var kl 8 och var inte ens färdig då. Hade en tid och passa, så jag åkte därifrån utan frukost.

Då jag var barn på 1950-talet var Appelbergs ett väldigt fint hotell med landets bästa smörgåsbord. Jag är väldigt glad att det finns kvar. En eloge till nuvarande och tidigare ägare. Läget är fantastiskt mitt i stan, med en sida mot älven och stadsparken. Underhållet verkar ha skett med extremt snål budget, med taffligt monterad laminat på både väggar och golv. Gardinerna gick inte att dra ifrån och vid ytterdörren låg en trasig lös kakelplatta. I både den yttre och inre arkitekturen ser man dock den tidigare fantastiska miljön. Personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam. Städningen bra och sängkläderna rena och fina. Frukosten höll en okey nivå. Den som gillar Stockholms coola Sunkhak som Rosa Drömmar kommer att trivas här. Mitt slutbetyg blir med viss tvekan godkänt. Nästa gång jag besöker Sollefteå så tänker jag bo där.

Väldigt dålig frukost, fanns endast rostade mackor med marmelad och ost. Allt kändes väldigt mycket skolmatsal. Baconet va mer kokt än stekt. När det kommer till rummet så va sängen ändå helt okej men badrummet va under all kritik, inte renoverat sedan 70-talet och våtrumsmattan hade börjat släppa på flera ställen. Duschmunstycket gick inte att hänga upp.
