This hotel is nothing flashy (inside or out), but it was clean, and the bed was decent. Across the street was a place to eat and have a local beer and both were great!

Behind the place looks like a junkyard, the parking lot was half gravel and there were potholes large enough to eat cars alive. The place is old and not aging gracefully.

There are no other hotels within 20 miles of the Summit. The staff could hardly speak any English and actually was unable understand many of the questions we asked about services and local venues and other very basic questions. It is an older establishment and is frequented by hikers, bikers, truckers and skiers during snow season.

Its really quaint felt like a proper inn and apparently it a place to mail supplies to hikers along the trail which is really cool

Good for what you pay for.

It worked for what we paid for. I would say everything was okay. Not bad but not perfect. Like I said you get what you pay for. Room was clean, restaurant attached was okay, everything is just a bit outdated. Pool closed, bar closed (where the advertised pool table is).

I was nervous at first to stay at the Summit Inn due to the reviews but glad I took a chance. Staff was courteous and hotel was clean. I would suggest bringing your own pillow because ours were too small and flat. Also hottub was likewarm. Restaurant attached had amazing food and staff!
