Due to late train arrival it was dark when I arrived at the room. I opened door to room, previously guest had not checked out. I called Owner/Contact (O/C), I was texted the address to a different property, Coral Sands(CS) within 10 minutes. I asked O/C to provide transportation (Uber) to CS, I was told "I don't think I can do that, it's within walking distance." I walked 5-7 blocks in the dark carrying a backpack and dragging a piece of luggage disgruntled, disoriented and a bit humiliated. I have had a bilateral knee replacements so this was no easy task in the dark and unfamiliar terrain. When I reach my room at CS, I felt uncomfortable due to the 4 male residents sitting around the door drinking beer. I gained entrance and secured the room only to find that the whole locking device jiggled. Roku streaming didn't not connect major of the time I was there. O/C stopped responding the first night.

The place is good but needs some changes; the shower, for instance, was very weak—it took a long time to bathe—and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioning wasn't powerful enough for the entire space; it only worked well for the bedroom! Aside from that, everything else was fine: the location was perfect, and the parking and neighborhood were good.

We had to wait for 2 hours to check in. The bathroom sink was clogged and leaking day one , contacted the office but it never got fixed. Very nice location, great access to beach, clean and quiet. Definitely worth the price if you don’t mind few issues.

The property was clean and the A/C wes good. But the dresser was missing knobs and the stools were broken. Only one glass cup was there . I called many times to expand my staying one more night, I got the answer a couple of hours before I checked out. It was too late.

The room was not as pictured and it smelled of heavy cigarette smoke, despite being listed as a nonsmoking room. We stayed at a different place for our trip but were unable to reach the property manager and were denied a refund. The apartment was not as described and we did not stay, but we have been saddled with the full bill. Do not stay here.

Nice little Singer Island Inn

Comfortable little apartment for a beach trip where you don’t expect to spend much time inside. Perfect location for walking to all the restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean and well kept.
