Initially, I picked this hotel for the price and assumption that there was gonna be breakfast that I paid for attached to this, but I found out when I got there that this place does not serve breakfast. Market garden, the grocery store below the hotel do their own breakfast, but it’s not charged or shared or managed by the hotel. The false advertisement the Expedia has put on this app is disappointed as I will fight to get my money back for the $10 or whatever money I paid per day for this breakfast. Other than that, the rooms is pretty good. King size bed is comfortable, but they put flat sheets back could easily be pulled off the mattress. My favorite part of the hotel though is the bathroom as they have a waterfall shower that’s on clay and stone. The thermostat in the room works very well that they can get very hot or very cold.. I did not use the hotel shuttle to get to and from the airport to the hotel, but I believe they have one available that is free of charge. In case anybody needs to be picked up most of the workers at the hotel seemed friendly enough to do their job. The friendliest is the security guards and they’re also helpful as well.

When we arrived at the hotel (Commodore Suites, Simpson Bay) we were told that we had no reservation despite the fact that we had a written confirmation that we had paid for a room with two beds for January 1 - Jan 2. The hotel was able to provide a room with one bed that was not as nice as the one we booked if this picture is anything like what we would have had. It is hard to know where the fault lies in this situation.

We stayed eleven days here and the room that we had was the studio suit. Spacious for a long stay and the best air conditioner I ever had on an Island. The market on the main floor had everything we needed. The only issue we had was we planned a cookout on the rooftop for New Year's Eve. The Commodore has two gas grills for guest. We cleaned and seasoned are meat that afternoon but when we started to grill that evening the gas tanks were empty. We immediately reported this to the front desk thinking that they must have other tanks since we had set this up six days prior. The manager was notified by phone, but nothing they could do because it's getting late. Finally, the front desk clerk Lereisha came into action. She had her father come get the tank to get it filled at 9PM and he saved the celebration night. It was six of us planning to eat from the cookout. Lereisha showed how what customer service should be and stepped up to the plate, Thank you so much. Shout out to the other clerks Arella, and Shanilla who was always willing to help us. We will be back.

Checkin wasn’t the best for me. I was early but there was no effort on the staffs part to accommodate early checkin even though plenty of people checked out. I stayed in the lobby. They misrepresented “Breakfast available” no, it’s a grocery store that you can go to. They have some premade food you pay by weight or just buy groceries. Nothing to do with the hotel whatsoever. The price markup close to the new year was excessive, that hotel was not worth that price. I didn’t have a long stay but they didn’t clean the room at all. The staff on the morning of check out was much nicer and engaged.
