The hotel is extremely beautiful and the grounds offer some breathtaking views. It is definitely a hotel for relaxing and appreciating nature and outdoors. The breakfast is quite nice and the staff was very helpful and kind. Would definitely stay there again.

Brilliant hotel, amazing stafff

Superb hotel, extremely kind and accommodating staff. Loved the breakfast, free bicycle use, beach towels, beautiful garden and walking trails. Dinner was of good quality and reasonable value, especially the wine. The hotel is well positioned relative to the town centre and swimmable Almind Lake.

We loved having an authentic Danish experience while staying at the hotel. We could have stayed elsewhere in a hotel that was like any other hotel but this hotel has an interesting history. Plus the property is gorgeous! The front desk staff were great!

Location in park like setting very desirable- still very close to center of town. Nearly adjacent to Aqua and Jorn Museum. Grounds just lovely, tranquil. Rooms attractive though small. Hotel restaurant food only sampled at breakfast, but was good. Lovely terrace for breakfast in good weather.

Dejligt ophold. Vi spiste i orangeriet, bare en hovedret og dessert, det smagte skønt, men ventetiden var meget lang. Det søde personale undskyldte på grund af travlhed, der var helt fyldt op. Hovedpuderne er ikke ret gode og sengetøjet (dynerne ?) var alt for varme. Vi havde vindue og dør halvåbne og det var 14 grader udenfor. Dejlig morgenmad med hjemmebagte boller og skønne omgivelser. Der er en kort gåtur ned til åen med masser af liv og både.

Dejligt sted tæt på søerne. Gode muligheder for gåture i området. Fine værelser. Badeværelset måske lidt lille, men til gengæld en lille altan på vores værelse. God morgenmad og maden i Orangeriet var superb inkl. en god vinmenu med god fortælling om proviens.

I gåafstand til city og Asger Jorn museet. Parken var med virkelig flotte træer her i foråret. Orangeriet var hjælpsomme med pescetarmenu og det var ok mad. Intet prangende, men absolut godt til prisen. Betjeningen var virkelig god.
