Wow on the water!

The place to stay in this lovely city on the water. Worth every penny. The staff made accommodations for us have breakfast early. Highly recommend this place coming or going from Arlanda airport.

1909 Stads Hotell was very clean. The service was alright. However they don’t have air conditioning in the rooms and it was very very warm. I feel like for the price we paid for our stay it should have been more than a hot small attic type room.

En del av personalen var förmodligen inte ursvenskar, de försökte nog vara tydliga i sitt tal men det var lite svårt att förstå ibland. Vid tillsägelse när det fattades både koppar, socker, skedar vid kaffebordet och av detta fick jag ta om tillsägelsen en gång. Förberedelserna inför frukosten verkade inte vara tillräckliga. De verkade också vara underbemannade unnder frukosten då det också saknades både fil och skedar. Det fanns heller ingen att säga till och kö bildades snabbt. I vårt rum, 207, saknades skohorn. Till de skor jag använde vid detta tillfälle krävs skohorn och jag är dessutom över 71 år så det hade varit skönt med ett långt skohorn. I nämnda rum så använde jag toaletten i 5-tiden på morgonen och när jag spolat och lagt mig igen började det droppa i vattenbehållaren och det höll på i 15 minuter och det är ett enerverande ljud som gör att man inte kan somna om. Toalettdörren var stängd naturligtvis. I övrigt var maten bra förutom att bacon var stekt för länge till frukosten, nästan svart. Middagen var bra men högt sorl var lite besvärande. Parkeringsplatserna var i minsta laget map bredden.

Frukosten var över förväntan, liksom vinutbudet till middagen. Jag kan varmt rekommendera köttbullarna till middag. Lite tråkigt att flera rätter inte gick att beställa till middag. Rummet är stilrent inrett, något varmt och kvavt. Matsalen är otroligt vacker och inger en mycket trevlig atmosfär.
