It was our first night in Sri Lanka when we stayed one night in Sigiri Heritage villa prior to commencing our eight days tour. Our room was at ground floor, very near to the reception, thinking that it is safe to leave our wallets in the room with door locked, so we went to the pool and then to the restaurant for dinner a short while after we arrived. My pouch was always with me until when we arrived at the next hotel where we realised that USD 70 and an amount of rupees were missing from my wallet. We are shocked because the owners and their children are very nice but it might be the staff who had done that. Having said that, we will definitely go back again due to the nice owners of the hotel, their kind hospitality and the hotel is beautiful with clean pool and bbq buffet.
