La Siesta was great

Excellent location. Right across from the public beach. Walking distance to the village. Nice pool. Plus shuffleboard. Clean! Plus quick responses from the owner. Looking forward to next year!

Great location for beach

Condo had everything that we needed for a beach visit. The pool was very nice and folks friendly. The condo was clean but might be nice if carpet would be replaced in the future but we enjoyed our stay! He was very responsive to any questions.

Great location

Stayed at Idlewild for 4 weeks from mid-January to mid-February 2024. Even though the previous reviews indicated this unit was very clean and spotless, our experience was quite the opposite. Bathrooms were dirty, floors had not been swept let alone washed. Sand everywhere which is common in a beach location but finding it in the kitchen sink was unpleasant. Refrigerator had food debris all over and smelled. Counter tops were sticky and had coffee and dried sticky liquid under the cutting boards. We notified Dennis and then both of us spent the first 2 hours cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. Took a break to grab a bite for dinner and then returned for another 2 hours of dusting and vacuuming the unit and washing all the cupboards, dishes and pans we planned on using. Honestly, the abundance of beach toys and accessories made the cleaning process more time consuming. After that first day, everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Towards the end of our stay, Dennis did let us know that he was hiring a cleaning service so hopefully future guests don’t have the same experience we did but I guarantee the guests who stayed there after us entered a very clean unit.

Great location, lots of amenities

Had a great week in Siesta Key with wonderful weather. Dennis was very responsive, and the unit came equipped with plenty of umbrellas, chairs, loungers, towels and beach toys (and a wagon) for an easy walk across the street to the Public Beach. Mattresses were pretty soft, but in good condition. With a keypad on the door, makes it much easier than worrying about a key and sharing across a couple different people, so huge plus there!

Great Stay!

This condo had everything we needed for a great week on the beach! The location allows for a short easy walk to the beach or a quick bike ride into town. Having two bathrooms was nice since we had a teenager staying with us. Everything you need for the beach is included. Plenty of towels and dishes. Check-in and check-out was super easy. You use a door code instead of a key, which is great when there are multiple people staying. We will definitely be returning and staying here!

My 4 girlfriends and I totally enjoyed our stay. It is a great location and had everything we needed to have a carefree stay! No need to rent a car, the trolley stops on the corner! Clean, comfortable, had beach chairs, towels and tents....perfect!!

Dennis was great with answering all my questions that I had. He had everything set up to get in with no complications. He had everything there to take to the beach. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. Thanks Dennis for a great and comfortable stay.
