staff were really friendly and helpful, checking was good parking is a short walk away and we received a discount voucher from reception on departure. breakfast was great - and the room was clean and well equipped. Hotel is about a 10 min walk to the main square.

Lovely old monastery converted in the old part of the city with a great view of the surrounding landscape. Staff very helpful , good breakfast. Could use a sign outside to help find the place.

A lovely hotel just on the edge of Siena meaning it was a little more quieter than the centre - perfect for us as we were also driving. Hotel is lovely, rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast was good. Only thing to be aware of is they don't have a lift so if you stay here and have mobility challenges you need to ask for a room on the ground floor!

We had a great stay at this lodging. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful; the breakfast crew was very nice. Breakfast offerings were varied and fresh. Our room was very quiet and clean. The neighborhood is also quiet and it's a quick walk into the main hustle and bustle. Beautiful city to visit. We would stay here again.

I use the Rick Steve travel journals a lot and this hotel absolutely should have been on his list of recommended hotels! It’s a true gem! From the warm, helpful staff to the glorious monestary details, the hotel was a delight. Lovely rooms with the rare air conditioning, great bathrooms, delicious and extensive breakfast, and ideal location….it was above and beyond an absolute delight!

Comfortable room with basic amenities in a converted convent. Property had (limited) car parking close by. Location was within easy walking distance of city centre, which has a vast array of places to eat and drink. I would recommend Pizzaria Tufo in the Piazza del Campo.

I had a wonderful stay at Il Chiostro del Carmine. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The building gives you the feeling of stepping back into medieval times, which is exactly why I chose this place. They serve a wide variety of fresh food choices for breakfast. I especially enjoyed that they offered boiled eggs, since I like having eggs in the morning. The hotel is conveniently located near shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and major tourist attractions. Despite being close to everything, the area felt very safe and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax during my holiday. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Italy. Highly recommended!
