Key cards were not available for the guests. All outside and inside doors were accessible and doors were not secure. We were told that a recent "fire" caused the issue. However, we did not find in the recent news that any fire occurred in the last 30 days. All outside locks were broken off the doors, so the hotel could not be secured at night. The overall room was relatively clean, but the bathroom required remodeling. The shower had yellowing caulk and stains on the floor. We were required to leave our room door open each time we left, so we took all our belongings with us. It was not a very comforting stay at all!

We stay at this hotel when we visit our son. They have done a lot of recent renovations and it is really nice. They have a hot breakfast in the morning and the staff are very friendly. The room was spotless. The only improvements I would suggest: we booked an accessible room and the room we were given was spacious, but the bathroom was not accessible (too small for a walker or wheelchair and no handrails). Also the sign at the bottom of the driveway needs to be bigger.

Load neighbors

So beginning of the evening it was going great. However come 9pm we got neighbors and the neighbors were a bit load. It sounded like they were standing at the foot of my bed talking. I tried to ignore them and go back to sleep however that didn’t happen. This went on till I finally did fall back to sleep. Then 6:15 rolled around and they were back talking again and just as loud. No I didn’t call the front desk as my husband was sleeping thru all this and I knew hearing my voice he would wake up immediately. Guess my thought was this hotel wasn’t that busy and why would they put someone beside someone else’s room if they didn’t have to. The walls are obviously not well insulated and there was a door that adjoined the two rooms that in itself I would’ve thought would’ve put them in a different room other than beside us. So overall, the experience with the hotel was amazing. It was just the neighbors that came in after 8:30 PM that they put right beside our room just thinking out loud as to why if there was more rooms available that you would put people back to back in rooms, knowing that the rooms were not soundproof.

Everything was great except the big trucks with big boats parking next to the building instead of the trailer lot across the parking lot. No room cleanup during the day when we were out. For some reason I though that was a covid thing.

Hotel is under construction. Only 2nd floor rooms available. Dirty carpet in hallways inside, No elevator. Breakfast closes at 9:30 am on weekends! Too early!!!! Outdoor pool noise is loud for certain rooms. Room door lock did NOT work! Safety a concern. Don't stay there if you are a single woman traveling alone. Bed very comfortable, and once inside, room is clean with great AC that works!

Overall satisfied. However as a senior citizen would have preferred a walk-in shower rather that a tub shower. Also, and most importantly, there were no grab bars in the tub/shower area. May be a violation of the ADA regulations.

Honestly for the price, our hotel experience at the Comfort Inn wasn’t bad. The beds were very comfy, AC worked great. Wish the bathrooms were more upgraded, seemed outdated and not the cleanest. The pool was good but it was a little cloudy and needed more water. Breakfast was awful. Over all I give this a 3/10 over all. There is NO elevator so you will have to carry everything yourself. We were here 4th of July weekend and the front desk associate booked an elderly couple upstairs and didn’t come until after my wife and I carried their bags up for them while we’re dripping wet from the pool. If we wouldn’t have been there this elderly couple would have severely struggled with their bags and the stairs. It was shameful for the hotel to do that to him. Beds were soft which we surprisingly liked! The beds were the best!

This needs to be updated-think they are working on it-not very appealing in the hallways! The staff were all very nice and we enjoyed talking with them! Very helpful. No maid service during our visit and had to ask for towels.
