Good all round hotel worth the price

Well equipped room comfy bed with mosquito net. No air con but it wasn’t needed as Sidemen is a lot cooler at night than the South of Bali. Only complaint was the shower ran hot and cold with very little pressure. The area is really nice a quiet ideal for one or two night stays. We hired a motorbike from the hotel very cheaply at little notice on our first day. And had a good relaxing massage at the hotel after trekking through the rice terraces on the second day.

What an experience!

If you're looking for "WOW" views then look no future. This place has it all. You will have views of Mt. Agung, rice fields, and botanical lush vegetation. The pool was superb. The room was traditional style with outdoor bathroom. The staff were friendly and kind. The locals in Sideman were genuine and rare to encounter. We rented a motorbike from the hotel and had a blast riding through the hillside, rice fields, and neighborhoods. We had a flat tire and the locals were kind enough to help fix it for a very tiny fee. Sideman is the real Bali and in my opinion, better than Ubud. Our only complaint: no A/C. However, they provide a fan.

Excellent stay at Sidemen

Wonderfully arranged hotel in Sidemen, with absolutely great rooms and natural environment. Excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and a very good restaurant onsite. The place is ideal both for short 1-2 night stays, and for quiet relaxing vacations of a week or more.

A Peaceful Place

A charming hotel in a beautiful part of Bali, set among fields of rice terraces. Sideman is a good place to get away from the crowds. It is a quiet area without a lot of activity other than walking and some trekking in the mountains, but a good place to unwind in a peaceful setting. The staff are charming and the meals we ate there were quite good. The only downside is that the wifi is very poor and slow, the slowest we have seen in the area.

Idyllic jungle setting

Hotel is set amongst a pretty scene of rice terraces. My room was comfortable - a mosquito net and fan were provided. The restaurant is open air, which gives a lovely view of the jungle but there are cats which wander around it and will meow at you when you're trying to eat, which I found irritating. The hotel provided pool towels, which was handy. The pool was smaller than I expected and there weren't many sun-loungers, so you might struggle to get one at busy times.

Great views and lovely staff

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff, views across the hills to Mount Agung and beautiful tropical gardens around each villa. We would highly recommend a stay at Teras Bali.

Beautiful place!!

we loved this place because of the silence and nice vieuw . The ricefields are very near so you can have a walk nearby to visit them. Also a good swimmingpool en nice rooms!

Beautiful views of rice terrace, room 036 is the best, or 117. Friendly staff, good breakfast but try other restaurants for supper (warung Bali in village is great). Taxi service from Padang Bai to hotel for 250,000 Rp, request directly to hotel. Rooms sound isolation is poor, you hear neighbours.

Wonderful stay

my stay in Teras Bali overall was great, the Hotel location is nice, view from the rooms are outstanding, the food in the restaurant can be better but compared to the other restaurants on the area it is the best. what made my stay perfect is the staff, all of them are very helpful / nice/ warm and ready to atend all the times especially Yusi. one little remark is that not all people like the idea of open rooms or Showes.

lovely hotel with a nice pool

We stayed 3 nights in this nice small Hotel in a bungalow with an outdoor bathroom. Wonderful! In the restaurant with a nice view you can have good fresh juices and food. To walk around in the ricefields and nature with giant trees was amazing.

We loved staying at this beautiful scenic place. The children thoroughly enjoyed it too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom could do with an upgrade. We loved sitting on our porch overlooking the valley. It is quiet and serene. No music. Awesome.

Stunning. My favorite stop in Bali

I loooved this stop on my trip. Was nearly in tears when I saw the view from my room (#36), the wrap around terrace, and the big canopy bed. Doors on 2 sides that opened to the extraordinary view. Immediately asked for a spa treatment and they were able to accommodate me within half an hour. It was so nice that I booked a facial for the next morning. I realized afterwards that Ida, my therapist, even came in hours before she was supposed to work to accommodate me. So nice. The breakfast that was included was really nice. A perfectly poached egg, fresh fruit and the highlight was the really yummy bread they make at the hotel.

Roligt og hyggeligt

Dejligt lille hotel med smuk beliggenhed og dejligt poolområde. Personalet er noget af det bedste vi har mødt på vores rejse på Bali, utrolig hjælpsomme og smilende. Værelserne ligger som små bungalows, vi boede på 1 sal med den smukkeste udsigt over risterasser og palmetræer, helt jungleagtigt. Masser af ros til de ansatte.

Superbe vue

Superbe hotel à taille humaine, très confortable, avec un très beau jardin et une très jolie vue. C'est vraiment au milieu des rizières. Sidemen m'a beaucoup plu car il y avait très peu de touriste, contrairement à Ubud qui est totalement détruite par le tourisme de masse. Il est facile de se balader à pied autour de l'hôtel, ou on peut aussi simplement apprécier le lieu en lui-même.

De ligging is prachtig en het zwembad ook.

Wat een prachtige omgeving! Het zwembad is ook super. Het eten is oke. Maar in de straat zit een Warung en die heet Bukit Artha en daar kan je heerlijk Indisch eten. De tracking is ook super leuk om te doen. Via het hotel geregeld. Het personeel vonden wij aan de jonge kant en kwamen wat onervaren over. Maar al met al hebben we een paar leuke dagen gehad daar.

Ro og massage og afslapning

Er beliggende langt ude i rismarkerne i fred og idyl - gode gåture i området til rismarker. Super fin pool og helt fantasktik massage man kan tilkøbe på hotellet. Et roligt sted til afslaptning og gå-ture. Værelserne er hyggelige og personlet gør alt hvad der står i deres magt for at opvarte.
