Clean room and comfortable bed, but the whole property is very tired and in need of major renovation. Rotten woodwork, peeling wallpaper, and a very dated bathroom. Small swimming pool, ok for kids. Friendly staff and efficient check in. Inexpensive and adequate for a one night stay.

This beautiful listed building is set in very peaceful and calm grounds. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We loved the jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. The owners have plans to update the rooms whilst keeping the wonderful character of the hotel. We loved our stay here.

Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best.

Th building is amazing or at least it will be when the renovation is finished. It will be jaw dropping. Absolutely loved this place, the setting was incredible and the first thing they started with, the most important thing, the beds so had an excellent night's sleep. Totally needs updating (I'm sure th teles were from the 2000s - at least 20 years old, but I was told that that was what they were doing, so by the end of the summer it should be done. I know where I'll be spending Xmas n new year ........... Highly recommended Stace
