The front desk receptionist was friendly enough. We left for a while and came back in and 3 staff members just stared at us. It was not unfriendly but it was sure not midwest friendly. Kind of creepy.

Room clean except that microwave dirty inside and freezer had carton of ice cream stuck inside. Comfortable and roomy but more expensive than similar hotels elsewhere, probably due to location and renovations. At first glance, room looked nicely updated, but there were several significant gaps between the flooring planks. I'd still stay here again.
