I was extremely unhappy with our stay here. First, check in was at 3pm, we arrived at 2pm and I asked if it was possible for an early check in. He informed me all the rooms were clean and ready but still asked for $20 fee for checking in an hour early. Not only were all rooms clean, there was nobody there and I was 1 hour early. That seems a bit ridiculous. I paid it anyway because we had a baby who needed a nap. They had one smoke detector in our room that did not work at all, when I confronted them, they told me to change the battery and see if that works. They also confirmed they have 0 carbon monoxide detectors on site. This is unsafe, and I am pretty sure illegal? They did not care. There was hair all over our bed. No elevator (I asked for a 1st flr room because we had a baby with lots of things to carry in - even though NO one was there, he said no, rooms are already assigned and I could not switch). Breakfast was ok. Pool was filled with hair and dirt and no public bathrooms while near the pool. Checking out, he tried to charge me for a dog being with me (we do not have a dog or any other animal for that fact) and insisted I have to pay that fee. When I told him I didn't have a pet, he said "Are you sure? It says here you do for who checked you in". I said "YOU checked me in and I do not have an animal". Overall, this hotel was not worth the price AT ALL and it seems like they just wanted to get you for everything they possibly could.

The front desk agent was extremely rude and she had dirty clothing. Also the property does not have an elevator and lugging 2 kids and 3 suitcases up a flight of stairs at 1am and after a long travel day was the last thing I needed and to be greeted with a bad attitude at checkin made the experience exceptionally unpleasant.
