Unplug and unwind at our peaceful 40-acre Kentucky ranch. This spacious 3BR, 2.5BA home offers views of Texas Longhorns and alpacas, plus modern comforts in a serene country setting. Relax on the porch, gather by the fire pit, and explore nearby attractions like Buffalo Trace Distillery, Kentucky Horse Park, hiking trails, and golf. Perfect for families, couples, or Bourbon Trail adventurers. **Please note, You are a guest on a working farm and your stay comes with all of the sights, smells, sounds of a working farm.
Our livestock guardian dogs are Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd. We apologize in advance if their barking disturbs your sleep. When they are barking, they are successfully keeping our livestock safe from coyotes, stray dogs, bears, toxes, skunks and other predators.
When we hear them bark, we fall peacefully back to sleep knowing that all is well and safe on the pastures and in the barns.
There's a private patio. A kitchen makes it easy to prepare your meals. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a washing machine and an iron/ironing board.

This is a gorgeous place, both inside and out. It is well-stocked with everything you might need. You can tell that Stacy cares about the comfort and convenience of her guests. The swallows and animals add much to the experience and the peace and quiet are lovely. We would come back in a heartbeat.

This property has livestock guardian dogs to guard the goats and other livestock on the farm. They barked from dusk until 1 o'clock am when we packed and left the property. The dogs were right behind the house....no chance of sleep.After we notified the owner we left, for the above reason, she apologized and told us that was not the experience she wanted for her guests and we would receive a full refund. Weeks later we had not received a refund. After inquiring about the delay with the owner we eventually received a partial refund, but not the entire refund she promised.I have stayed a several verbo rentals with fantastic experiences....this is not one of them. Unless you are deaf...Don't choose this property.
