If you like to be humiliated by their staff then stay here. I took an overnight stay with my husband and paid extra for the breakfast buffet. My husband was exhausted that morning, so I politely asked the breakfast staff if it was okay for me to bring a couple of plates back to our room for him. After confirming with another staff member, the front reception girl told me yes. After I prepared two plates for him, another staff member removed the food off my tray and told me I couldn't take the food. I explained that I had asked beforehand and was given permission. They confirmed with the front desk girl and acknowledged I was telling the truth. However, they still said no and corrected me loudly and publicly, making me feel as though I was trying to take something I hadn't paid for. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. These were cooked items, asian noodles, so asking a guest to "put them back" is not only unsanitary but unreasonable. And to be clear, those two plates didn't even amount to more than what a single person would normally eat in the dining area. Another guest who witnessed the incident even approached us later at the airport to apologize on the staff's behalf, saying no customer should be treated that way and confirming he saw me ask for permission. This wasn't about the food. It's how it's handled. A complete lack of respect, professionalism, and basic hospitality. I will be letting our Platinum Elite status expired.
