The front desk staff were excellent in helping out our business team on our first visit to Shanghai. Specifically, Sinnie took the time to help us with dinner and transportation that made our stay exceptional. When we travel again to Shanghai, we will be staying at the Amara due to Sinnie great help as well as the wonderful hotel.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. The buffet offered both Chinese and Western-style dishes, all fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I would also like to give special recognition to Molly Chen, who provided outstanding service throughout my stay. She is warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Her hospitality made me feel truly welcome and at home. Molly's professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond my expectations and made my experience even more memorable.

The location is really convenient for me, close the metro station, close the shopping and all kind of restaurants. The staffs are very nice and friendly. The room is very space, with city view. The breakfast has a lot of choices and they change items daily.

The hotel was brand new, it opened a day before I arrived, the staff made my stay very relaxing, The rooms are large and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the snow, it was a convenient location to get a taxi or to access to the subway. I highly recommend it.

a little dated, don’t feel like a 5 star hotel, but most staff are very helpful, especially those gentlemen from the concierge team (e.g. Zero, the staff who helped with my bags when i checked in on Thursday and the gentleman in specs from night shift (didn’t get their names sorry). Zhang from security is also very helpful, my friends and i were full of hands with all our stuff for the past few days and he will kindly help to hold the door for us when we get off the cars when we reach. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

It is a brand new hotel. It locates in a dense older neighborhood. The transportation such as for the MTR is quite convenient. You can walk through the neighborhood to the river. The neighborhood is safe but streets' cleanliness may not be in a high standard.

Einen Besuch im Hotel Amara Shanghai kann man gerade für Geschäftsreisen sehr gut empfehlen. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits der klassischen touristischen Spots in einer dennoch belebten Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten die chinesische nicht auf Touristen ausgerichtete Gastronomie zu nutzen. Von besonders hoher Qualität ist die Executive Lounge, deren Buchung ich auf jeden Fall empfehle. Unterhalb meiner Erwartung blieb lediglich das allgemeine Frühstück, das hinsichtlich Auswahl, Qualität und Ambiente nicht dem Standard vergleichbarer Hotels entspricht. Da aber der ausgesprochen gute Service, die Qualität des Zimmers mit hervorragender Matratze und hochwertiger Bettwäsche und sämtliche sonstige Annehmlichkeiten vollends überzeugten, vergebe ich gerne die volle Punktzahl
