Fantastic location, easy to walk most places. Also very close to a subway station. Not the best hotel comfort & cleanliness wise, but for the price it was fine and the location definitely made up for it.

The Staff was really nice and helpful, room services did always a good job but the room that was shown on the web are old because the actual room was a bit in bad conditions but it was enough for us because at the end of the day we used it just to go to sleep and that's it. so to go just to sleep and get clean to go out it is more than enough for the price but it is nothing special.

Check in at the lobby was OK but as soon as we got to the room it was in very poor condition and we instantly decided to check out and find a different place.

Value for money for family room

The room was new and value for family of 4. But the bathroom has one door share between the toilet and bathroom. Lobby area under construction n need to do up quick.

Staff 1. no English 2. ask me to pay extra to upgrade to a "better" room 3. inexperienced Hotel Facilities and Cleanliness 1. cigaret smoke filled 2. dirty and poorly maintained 3. no slippers, no toothbrush, 4. cracked walls 5. stained and dirty facilities 6. unhygienic bathroom Room comfort 1. unsafe - dodgy door lock and handle 2. window mirror stickers - outsider can see inside 3. cigaret! everywhere!

There were some fault informations about this hotel on hotel.com as of 07 Nov. 16. - Laundry >None. - Wired Internet >None.But wifi is available and comfortable. Not so clean but very cheap and good to access to central of Shanghai. Totally, I think it is reasonable to choose this hotel just to stay, not to enjoy luxury life. And this hotel is on Fuzhou road. But near people square, there's another hotel so please take care.

Poorly maintained hotel, very noisy.

The hotel is in very poor condition, not as per the photos. We stayed only one night and cancelled the rest of the stay as we were not able to sleep. The people staying next door were very noisy. The comfort of the room is really not there! Not a good choice.

it's your call...

well, we just got it because we do things in there. we got a nonsmoking room with a minibar. there was no minibar and it was a smoking room. i'm allergic to smoke. there was a pretty bad leak upstairs that came through the ceiling. mold was growing in 3 corners. i'm a little sensitive to mold as well. so, i sprayed alcohol on it and we stayed outdoors until sleepy time. we did our thing then left the next morning. it served its purpose. but i would suggest to not trust the 3 star rating :)

shanghai cheap but not so cheerful!!

a budget priced hotel but in a good location. some upgrading work was in progress which is much needed. an old hotel which is pretty grubby. hallway carpets were dirty, shower door didn't close, kettle in the room but no tea, coffee or cups provided.booked a double room but when we got there none were available. windows had never been cleaned since the hotel was built and did not fully close so it was noisy.

Really dirty hotel - Do not book it!

The room was in such poor shape and so dirty, it shouldn't even be rented out. The floorboards were broken so there were gaps on the floor, the bathroom had mold and was so dirty I didn't want to take a shower. There was hair on the bedding before I even laid down. I had to drape my clothes over the pillow before sleeping. The molding around the room was chipped and very dirty. The hotel staff couldn't speak English so I couldn't even ask for directions, but at least they tried.

Hotel close to Metro

It's close to Metro but still need to walk 15 mins. Front desk staff is not friendly , and hotel facilities are very old.

Not really good :(

I stayed there for 3 days. Hotel building was really old and room was really cold. Bathroom was not really clean. Bulding and room was really old so I didn't really like there. The location of this Hotel is really good!!! Best location old building.
