Front desk concierge was very friendly...a bit untidy but he was kind. Facility was ok...odd smell in hallway...room was meh...fridge was dirty with spill left from a previous customer. No hot water - warm for a few minutes then it went cold. TV remote was not synched to television so not able to use. You can tell it was attempting to get more modern but still mediocre. Could hear people nearby other televisions heard quite loudly and beds although comfortable had a spring box that was very loud when you move on it

Tub was leaking, no washcloths until we went to get them, 2 roaches in the bathroom, food area was dirty ( I did not feel comfortable eating there), entry and halls were dirty. The area felt unsafe.

The entire place was clean and the room smelled nice and neutral, which is a huge deal for me. Staff was pleasant and helpful, the lady who checked us in was very nice about getting us into a different room that was easier for my arthritic dog to access. Breakfast was good. I will definitely stay here again next time we visit Holden Beach.

Direct TV in room not working. Controller didn't have batteries. Visible falling apart all over property. Mold on shower curtain. Dirty tub. Random bits of trash in corners of room etc etc.....and the worst coffee ever.

Absolutely disgusting conditions, DO NOT BOOK HERE!! First room- bed full of dog hair and a dirty, used fork on the floor.. asked for a different room. Second room- pull out bed covered in mold.. asked for a new room Third room- roaches found on the walls The WORST PART is that they could “refund” me but it would take 7-10 business days for my money to show back in my account so in order to go to another hotel, I would have had to pay out of pocket. Recommend NOT booking through hotels.com and booking directly through the hotel. Apparently I had limited options because I booked through a “3rd party”.
