Absolutely darling hotel in the cutest town in Iceland! Highly recommend!! We didn’t have the breakfast but a buffet was available for $. Steps away from the famous church and rainbow street.

The town is absolutely stunning. The Aldan restaurant was a great place to go and hangout for dinner or just drinks in the evening. The old bank where we stayed was lovely and the bed was quite comfortable, it gets very stuffy and hot, even with the windows open, a little Pricey for what you get. I would suggest maybe providing a small fan for the guests or definitely bringing one. Other than that was a good stay.

Great central location with free parking, and the room was clean and spacious. However, this is more of a guesthouse than a hotel. Having to collect the entry code from the restaurant a block away was inconvenient, especially with luggage, and carrying bags up to the second floor with no lift was a hassle. The restaurant staff were not very welcoming, and overall I felt the stay was overpriced for what was offered.

Room was nice and clean. Tub a bit hard to step in and very slippery so put a towel on the bottom so I wouldn’t fall. Had to walk to a restaurant to check in after parking in a supermarket parking lot which is rather interesting. No free breakfast and offered on that was imo a bit too spendy. Cute little town

Loved this place

Located in an old renovated building. Loved the character of the place and the way that the hotel was different buildings scattered throughout the town. Room was clean and spacious with a good size bathroom.
