The place was really cute and clean and right next to the iconic church and rainbow Road in town. The host took about four hours to respond to me, which was a little frustrating. The town itself does not have a lot to offer compared to other places in Iceland but was very beautiful.

Loved this place

Located in an old renovated building. Loved the character of the place and the way that the hotel was different buildings scattered throughout the town. Room was clean and spacious with a good size bathroom.

We were very confused as to which building was our hotel as it wasn't labeled. Fortunately, we saw the picture to confirm. You'll need to walk up several steps to get into the building. Our room was a first-floor corner room, and it was super spacious. We had a great view of the snow-covered mountains. The location is convenient to walk the entire town, including both grocery stores and the hikes to the waterfalls. All amenities were luxurious. We had a great night sleep here. What a fantastic little town and hotel!
