Good location and a spacious place overall, but it’s missing some key elements that make for a truly comfortable stay. The kitchen was lacking basics — not enough glasses, and simple inexpensive essentials like salt, pepper, and cooking oil were missing. The apartment itself could also use some upkeep, as the walls were quite dirty with noticeable stains and would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. There was also very little storage or organization space: nowhere convenient to put luggage or hang clothes, no hooks for towels, no towels to dry the dishes and no blankets available for the couch. The iron was broken as well and appeared to have been dropped previously as the base was cracked and leaking. Overall, the stay was good, but the place is missing attention to detail and could use a bit more care and maintenance to make it feel complete.

This was a very comfortable apartment. Plenty of space for 4 or 5 people. The stairs inside the apartment would be difficult for someone elderly or with mobility issues.

The location is great and within close proximity to everything, it is also easy if you want to take an Uber as it can pick you from just outside the apartment. The apartment itself is tired, there are leak marks, cracked beams, dirty skirting in bathrooms with other people hair, one of the toilet seats and flush were dirty when we arrived, the curtain that provides shade to the kitchen ceiling is also dirty, the apartment is spacious, however, it needs some updating and cleaning. The bedding and kitchen were clean. It would be great if the kitchen contained some basics like oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea bags, some of these were provided but as a one sachet or 2, not for everyone. The main building door doesn't lock properly and we found it was left unlocked by other guests. The check in and directions were smooth. I stayed in Slow Suites Salvador before I thought this would be similar, but unfortunately, it wasn't that great!

Liked the decor and open brick design that was unique! Loved the location and rooftop. The only thing we didn’t like was noise from neighbours as one of there windows opens in to high ceiling of our flat.

Not the best stay...but nice location

Lovely location but not the best experience due to door malfunction and the amount of noise caused by same. Our 1st floor apartment was right above door and the kitchen built in original light well and when apartment upstairs opened windows we could hear them use toilet, cough, fart etc. Would not stay again despite the partial refund offered

Everything went great. very good location, and amazing house. However the sofa had a dodgy brown stain in the middle and all lamps had no bulbs, which was very strange and I could not give a nice ambiance to the place. Only hanging lamps had bulbs

Overall: the apartment was clean and very spacious. Safety: felt safe as a woman travelling solo. Amenities: laundry, washer, stove and iron etc. available. Location: easy to find, popular places within walking distance, plus good restaurants nearby. Tip: the damn main door was my arch-nemesis for the first 3 days! After putting the password to gain access, you’ll hear a click. Make sure you pull the door towards you first before pushing it open. Viola! You won’t need to beg the door to magically open. You’re welcome. Oh and also Bar Baratillo is just 2 minutes by foot - the tapas were just- chef’s kiss!
