Sevilla staying at Colon Melia

Staff were very friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome. Pool area was lovely however you cannot swim in the pool as it is very shallow and really only a cooling off pool. The views are amazing from this area. Very central for getting around.

Hotel Colón Gran Meliá exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The design of the hotel is stunning: stylish, elegant, and full of character. My room had modern amenities, great views, and every detail was thoughtfully done. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety and quality. This hotel perfectly combines luxury with warmth, and if I could give it 6 stars, I would.

Despite much time and effort by multiple staff, were never able to get the television working. The swimming pool is very small and only knee deep, closer to hot tub size. The selection of tapas and drinks available in the red level lounge was quite disappointing.

Location is excellent. The standard of this hotel is superb a real 5 star facility. The staff are outstanding and the rooms are immaculate. Would highly recommend as the place to stay in Seville.

Fantastic hotel that was within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Massive king size bed with lovely bedding. Great sized room and we enjoyed upgrading to Red to allow us access to the private bar which was a great place for a quick drink before going out for dinner. All the staff engage as you pass and are lovely and welcoming. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice from cooked options, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, fruits and cereals- so something for everyone. Highly recommended.
