An exceptional hotel from start to finish in such a beautiful setting. Incredibly welcoming and warm staff who were so helpful during our stay. The location is ideal - just minutes away from the Cathedral and lots of shops,restaurants etc. We stayed in one of the apartments as we were travelling with a baby and it was exactly what needed - clean, spacious & beautifully decorated! Beautiful historical building and excellent professional and knowledgeable staff. Spotless rooms with tea and coffee facilities in the room. We were made to feel very welcome and took advent of the roof terrace on sunnier afternoons. Breakfast is available and looks great although not catering for plant based diets.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa del Poeta. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is ideal, a 7-8 minute walk to the royal palace and Cathedral and close to several excellent restaurants. The hotel service is impeccable and we particularly appreciated Jose's restaurant recommendations and his help booking reservations for dinner and a flamenco show. And we enjoyed having a glass of wine and listening to live Spanish guitar in the lovely hotel courtyard after sightseeing all day. We hope to return some day.
