This is no ordinary hotel; it is very special indeed. Lurking behind its huge spookily creaking door (the only discordant note in the hotel) lies a museum of art. The building is a restored mansion in Moorish style, with courtyards with tinkling fountains, wide marble staircases, arched doorways and cosy spaces. The walls are full of paintings ancient and modern. Furnishings are an eclectic mix of styles: ancient cabinets, modern tables that seem to float on legs of soft fabric, angular and suspended seats. There is a meticulously planted jungle and a small swimming pool. Bedroom are spacious and individually styled with extraordinary (and sometimes outrageous) furniture and huge beds. Even breakfast crockery and cutlery are stylish and unique. Breakfast buffet has a huge choice, and delightful omelettes to order, though staff sometimes seem overwhelmed when too many guests appear at once. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and multilingual. Everyone smiles... and so do you! Room cleaning is immaculate.

The experience was lovely. The hotel is like no other I’ve stayed in before. I highly recommend this especially if you like unique hotels. Location is fantastic with so many restaurants and around the corner from the cathedral and Alcázar. Very pleased with everything. Staff were super friendly and professional. 5 star for sure!!

Everything about this hotel was fascinating. It was one of my all time favourites. The staff were amazing including Nacho at front desk and Junko in the kitchen. Such a quiet atmosphere which I enjoyed very much. I would go back again any day.

Hotel Boutique Casa del Limonero is a hidden gem. I often stay at top luxury properties, and this boutique hotel easily rivals them when it comes to comfort, service, and amenities. While you won’t find a full-service restaurant for lunch and dinner, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff go above and beyond—whether it’s serving tea at unusual hours, arranging reservations, organizing tours, or coordinating airport transfers. The rooms are modern, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated with unique touches you won’t see in larger chain hotels. Best of all, the lush tropical courtyard with its pool creates a serene escape from the bustle of the city—an experience that truly sets this place apart.

This hotel is simply fantastic... a beautiful building which is essentially an art gallery with rooms (luxurious rooms!) and amazing staff! The service from everyone was amazing (especially Gonzalo), the freshly cooked breakfast was perfect, the pool and roof-top were great, and teh location could not have been better (close to the centre but slightly hidden so nice and quiet). We would 100% stay again!

Best hotel ever

This was an incredible hotel, the location was perfect to all the local sites, tapas bars, and shops, the decor was more than formidable, the fixtures and electricity was all completely modern and functional, the room was comfortable and air conditioned, the shower and bath were perfect pressure and temperature. The furniture and art was thoughtfully selected and placed with meaning behind it. Not just aesthetically, this hotel had incredible service. Namely, Gon and Ines were always helpful and enthusiastic. My breakfasts were well prepared by Gon and delicious. I would say it was the best hotel stay I’ve had in my life.
