Really great experience. Nice and quiet when you get back to the room but in a bustling fun area. Close to a lot of amazing things. Owners were so nice and friendly. Kitchen was good!

Bad: - this was more like a guest house than a hotel. - rooms were a bit cramped and a lot of items were self serve - room cleaning was not done very well

Fabulous hotel, incredible location!

Our 5-night trip in Jongno was made all the better by staying at Stayz437. We were met at check-in by the owner/operator, who helped us get our keys and showed us around the shared amenities (kitchen, laundry, snacks, and coffee). The room was small (typical of all S. Korean rooms!) and well-equipped and extremely clean. The air conditioning kept us comfortable and we were impressed by how quiet it was in our room, despite how loud/high energy it was on the street outside. Additionally, we loved that Stayz437 provides new towels/room cleaning only when asked, ensuring our stay was sustainable and low-impact as possible! Highly recommend a trip to Jongno and a stay, here, and Stayz437.

It’s a fine room if you only plan to sleep there. Good location. Towels smelled of mildew, dirty handprints on the walls, and walls are paper thin so you can truly hear every move made by people in the property.

I had an amazing day here. It’s located in a very lively area with countless restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel itself is clean and has good amenities, including a hairdryer, brush, free shampoo, conditioner, and a stocked kitchen with coffee, as well as a washer and dryer. It’s very clean in my room was small but perfect for what I needed.

We had a good stay here. I was debating on whether to rate 3 or 4 stars and intimately landed on 4 stars. I have listed my pros and cons with some helpful information below. Pros: -The biggest pro was the location. Super central and walking distance from many areas including Gwanghwamun, Insa-dong, and Myeong-dong. -free laundry services -provided snacks, water, cooking area in a common area. -Easy check in and check out -Super friendly staff -There’s a bus stop nearby for a bus that goes right to the airport. You can catch the bus every 10-15 minutes or so and takes about 70 Minutes to get to terminal 1. Cons: --while the location is the biggest pro it might be the biggest con as well. Despite being centrally located, it’s in an area with a lot of bars and restaurants where people eat and drink late into the night. It never bugged us in our room but it wasn’t the nicest area to walk through late at night. -I didn’t realize when booking this hotel that the bathroom shower was not separate from the rest of the bathroom. When you shower you are essentially standing next to your sink/toilet. Not the end of the world but I didn’t realize from the pictures.

For the price, imo it’s sufficiently nice. Great service from the staff, so many restaurants, convenient stores, interesting areas worthy of your time just walking around. There’s also Chung gae chun creek that’s less than a minute walk. Deep your feet for 10 minutes and you’ll feel good! The room is not big, or rather maybe I chose the cheapest room but for the price especially in Seoul area it was well worth it.

Overall good value for the cost but some small improvements needed: towels and rooms have a strange odour, add luggage rack so theres a flat place to open/close as required. Maybe add info on what to expect with late checkin because the hotel is unstaffed. Staff when there are pleasant and friendly. Nice touches include the free washer/dryer and snacks/coffee.

Super cute guest house has everything you need. Walkable to most palaces, museums and trails. The surrounding area is full of fantastic restaurants and street food. Staff is super kind and helpful, they made a spectacular trip even better.

Great central location for moving around to sights in Seoul. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms are not very sound proof though. I was there for 4 nights either had very quiet neighbors or no one in the next room, so i didn't notice until the last few nights when i could hear someone in the next room on the phone. They weren't being particularly loud, but the sound did carry through the walls.

Really nice place to stay in a nice area

Really friendly stuff, ability to leave luggage after checking out, really comfy bed and pillows, ability to use freezer in the kitchen and wash clothes free of charge! The bathroom is tiny with shower above the sink, which was a bit unusual, but definitely doable for a 5day stay. Very good location with all the things close and great connection with both metro and buses to get anywhere in the city!

So, the check in was confusing because on Expedia is makes it sound like there will be no one at the property and they will just send you a door code that you'll use to get into the property. That's not true. In fact, it's very easy. There is a kiosk, you enter your reservation info (like just your family name) and it spits out the key to your room. AND there is a very kind man there during the day. They have a washing machine, ice machine, coffee machine, some snacks, etc. in a public area with a stove top. I will def. stay here again. Centrally located, reasonably quiet, no view from my room, but at least a window brought some outside light.

Excellent location right in the Jonggak Avenue of Youth area with Cheonggyecheon Stream, Myeong-dong and Insa-dong in walking distance. Many restaurants, cafes and stores and convenient public transportation nearby. Easy self check-in and check-out, owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a shared kitchen and the hotel offers self serve free coffee and water dispensers and the use of microwave, refrigerator and the washer and dryer combo units (2). Laundry cycle takes about 3 hours and clothes come out piping hot and dry. Walls are paper thin so recommend you bring air plugs if you are a light sleeper. Overall very happy with this hotel.
