Under normal circumstances, I would give the Sejong a 4 star review since it delivered a clean a spacious (albeit dated) room, at a price point that delivers value. BUT we arrived under abnormal circumstances. We arrived to a shocking mountain of garbage in the streetside lobby, nearly blocking the stairs. There are also stacks of garbage outside along the sidewalk. Some of this reflects an ongoing labor dispute-- which also impacted out stay-- but collecting trash seems a basic task if your hotel is going to remain open. Finally, the breakfast buffet was nearly inedible. Again I don't know if it is because the regular kitchen staff was let go or is striking, but for 22,000 won (around $15), the eggs should at least be full boiled, and the array of salads, etc. should look plentiful and fresh. If I hear that they have brought their workers back, I'll edit this review... but for now? No way.
