I never write reviews, but this time I think is necessary. The photos on Expedia of this hotel's rooms, installations, and lobby are not realistic. The hotel is pretty old and not well taken care of. The Carpets, walls, and lighting are out of date, the room is smelly; they advertise the availability of spa and gym, and do not make it clear these facilities are closed over the weekend. Th staff in the lobby are focused on selling the buffet breakfast and dinner. The location is very good, and beds are confortable, but if you want to stay there because of the spa, contact them directly to make sure they will have it open when you get there.

The breakfast was fabulous. Lots of options to choose from and the best kimchi we tasted during our trip. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with transportation needs, and they patiently answered all our questions. The room was clean, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner smell really nice. We definitely recommend staying at the Koreana.

The room itself was fine, but the experience wasn’t what I expected. The toilet in our room was leaking from the base overnight, and despite letting the front desk know right away, we weren’t able to switch rooms until the following day. It made the stay uncomfortable and inconvenient, especially since we couldn’t really use the washroom properly. Staff were polite, but the issue felt like it wasn’t treated with much urgency. For the price, I expected quicker resolution or at least an immediate room change.
