Beautiful house and pool in a wonderful quiet location. House was very clean and well equipped, weather was hot while we stayed but fans supplied to keep everyone cool while sleeping. Communication was excellent with owner and housekeeper. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Charming house

This home was perfect for our family. The host welcomed us warmly with a fire in the beautiful and spacious first floor. The kitchen was well equipped. The host was readily available if we had questions. The house offered a very comfortable winter stay and would certainly be a lovely place in a warmer season.

Lovely House in a lovely village

House was spacious, clean and well maintained. Outdoor space including pool, table tennis and orchard were all beautiful. Village Boulangerie only 3km away and 10min drive to local supermarket so this was perfect for us - we felt truly in the countryside but had easy access to the town and good transport links to nearby attractions such as chateaus and Futuroscope (theme park). A lovely area to explore!

Stunning Gite in Beautiful Surroundings

We stayed for 2 weeks at the start of June, and couldn't have asked for a better base to explore the area. The house is beautiful, and finished to a high standard. The gardens and grounds are lovely, and perfect to explore of an evening. The pool was an added bonus. The wider area is well placed to explore the Loire Valley, the Gite is less than an hour from Tours, Poitiers and Loches; as well as various chateau and other tourist destinations. The local town has supermarkets etc. only 10 minutes away. Benedicte was a kind and generous host, and checked in by text a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. We'd definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Lovely, we’ll equipped house.

The house was really comfortable. Plenty of space and we’ll equipped. Great Wi-Fi and everything worked well. The pool was excellent. The vegetable garden provided lovely tomatoes and courgettes. The grounds were lovely. Sitting beside a lake and a wood. The owner was very helpful throughout. Really enjoyable holiday.

Peace and quality family time

Three generations of our family gathered. We had a lovely time relaxing and exploring the area. The gite is well equipped and lots of thoughtful touches were there from toilet paper and kitchen towel to ping pong table and dvds and games for adults and children alike. Highly recommended

Lovely in stay in tranquil setting

We had a lovely week at this villa in Aug 2019. The house was beautiful, the surroundings lovely, and Benedicte and her family were extremely helpful and communication was easy both before and during our stay. Our only disappointment was that we thought the pool was heated as it was listed on the English version of home and away as being so and we had also read a recent review (2018) that said the same. However, the pool is not heated! And for little children (ours are 1 and 6) it was really too cold (12-16 degrees) which was a shame as we really wanted to spend more time in the pool. But all other facilities were as expected and the kids had great fun in the garden and on the trampoline. We would definitely recommend this gite just with the understanding about the pool!

Fantastic cottage for families

We had a fantastic week at the cottage along with our 10 year old boys. Lots of space inside and outside, awesome swimming pool and weather. We enjoyed visiting nearby towns, ancient fortresses, markets, forests, and went further afield to Poitiers and the wildlife park. We’d highly recommend the cottage to others especially families. One of our favourite activities was picking fresh tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini and parsley from the garden next to the pool. Thankyou Benedicte for a wonderful stay!!

We had a pleasant stay, nice welcome and easy check-in. Supplied were things to get you started, kitchen and toilet paper, some oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. Whilst not needed (we bring our own things) this will be helpful for others. Plenty gas for the stove and new gas bottle for the BBQ outside. Everything was working well. The outside deck (not towards the pool) will be replaced, we heard, and that is needed indeed. For us two this didn't matter as we used the grass area with tables and plenty seating there.The listing clearly shows the remote location, yet still easily accessible by car, which is exactly what we wanted. Quiet horses nearby. Surroundings, apart from nature sounds (birds), very quiet. Occasionally the gardener was present at nearby sheds, friendly and unobtrusive, but he will be doing gardening work, of course, but did inquire to time it with any absence during the day. Much appreciated. We had other people visit/stay at the neighboring house but didn't hear a thing. Yet, one is not entirely alone with respect to the surroundings, should that matter. We can also recommend this house (09-2025), just like the previous reviewers.

Calme et repos

situé dans un environnement paisible , le gite est très bien équipé ,les pièces sont vastes , la piscine est grande et très agréable . Les enfants peuvent profiter de grands espaces , du trampoline ,de balançoires ,de la table de ping-pong et des nombreux jeux et livres mis à leur disposition Les châteaux de la Loire ne sont pas très éloignés pour une excursion à la journée Ce gite est particulièrement adapté à des séjours familiaux avec jeunes enfants

Eine Urlaubs-Oase!

Unser einwöchiger Aufenthalt mit zwei Erwachsenen und vier Kindern/Jugendlichen war toll! Das wunderschöne Anwesen mitten in der Natur, der großartige Pool im gepflegten Garten, das Gemüsebeet zum Pflücken und Naschen, das gemütliche und sehr gut ausgestattete Haus und die liebevolle Betreuung durch Bénédicte und Christelle haben unsere Urlaubswoche zu einer besonderen Zeit gemacht. Wir empfehlen dieses wunderbare Haus uneingeschränkt weiter!

Uistekend verblijf

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf (2 weken ter plaatse). Alles was in orde, maar vooraal van de mooie tuin met moestuintje, het grote zwembad, het meer en het aanliggende bos hebben we genoten. Het is een ideale vakantiebestemming voor wie op zoek is naar rust en ruimte. De gite zelf is erg ruim, open en mooi verzorgd. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en kunnen dit verblijf zeker aanbevelen.

L'endroit est tout a fait exceptionnel, on est au milieu des champs de tournesol et de la forêt. Les butineurs de fleurs et les lézards se promenent tout autour de la propriété, la piscine permet de bonnes baignades et meme le soir avec un projecteur sous l'eau et la maison est tres bien équipée. Nous pensons y retourner pour de prochaines vacances.

Zeer fijne vakantiehuis

We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad. Het kindvriendelijke huis is van alle gemakken voorzien we hebben erg kunnen genieten van de omgeving en het zwembad. Heel fijn dat er een tuinman is die de hele omgeving en zwembad netjes verzorgd. Bij elke vraag die we stelden werden we heel fijn geholpen door de gastvrouw

Heerlijk vakantie gehad!

Heel fijn verblijf gehad! Huis met goed uitgeruste keuken. Zeer fijn zwembad! Moestuin erbij voor gebruik! Eigenaresse reageert snel op vragen en geeft tips en info over wat er in de omgeving allemaal te doen is. Trampoline en tafeltennistafel aanwezig! Rustig gelegen!

Très satisfaits de notre séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte du Domaine des Petites Minaudières. Les informations fournies avant notre arrivée et l'accueil de Christelle nous ont permis de profiter de la maison pleine de charme, située au calme au milieu de la nature. Merci pour les cadeaux et pour l'accès au potager qui nous a permis de profiter des excellents légumes cultivés par le jardinier.

Gite près de la nature et au calme

Accueil sympathique et présence attentionnée et discrète de notre hôte Marie. Un cadre superbe entouré de nature et forêt. Très grande piscine malheureusement peu utilisée à cause du temps. Un grand terrain avec jeux, idéal pour les familles. Merci aussi à notre hôte pour les oeufs du poulailler et l'accès au jardin potager. Un séjour très agréable et reposant.
