This is a nice place to relax and get away from it all. It is about 160 km East of Bali and from the beach on a clear day you can see Mt Agung on Bali. Photographers like to capture it's image in the setting sun. Locals say the ambiance around Sengiggi is similar to Bali fifty years ago.

The property has 24/7 security and local management to attend to any concerns promptly.

Free transport, courtesy of property owner, between Lombok International Airport and the villa - about an hour's drive.

Sengiggi is a 20 minute drive from the capital of Lombok, Mataram, where there is a population of about 500,000. It has two major retail centres, the Mataram Mall and Epicentrum. Traditional markets are found all around the island, and there is an abundance of traditional markets in the Sengiggi area..

Difficulty communicating with the care taker.

The property was fine. Not too many things around but it was easy enough to catch a cab (cheap) and go into town. I tried to communicate with the owner and the caretaker about airline changing our flight and arriving two hours earlier than the first plan. I texted and call both parties but couldn't get through. We had to wait for two hours to be picked up at the airport. When we checked out, the caretaker didn't show up on time. We waited for the longest we could but had to leave. The facility was fine but we had to ask for trash pick up and clean towels. For all above, the rent was not reasonably priced.
