Large guest rooms, buffet brkfst, car-taxi access

Need a car to get there, or a taxi from a somewhat distant train station. The TALL "kannon-sama" (Buddhist Goddess of Mercy) is the landmark to look for. The hotel is also tall, but the entrance is on a back road from the main road so a little tricky to find. Entrance driveway not marked well when arriving at night. Look for the Golf Course entrance (same entry point) but even then it is a bit tough to find at night. All you can eat buffet breakfast. Lobby bar with beer on tap, various whiskies, Japanese sake, simple mixed drinks (gin-tonic), but limited if you want a mixed cocktail (no manhattans; that elicited only a pained look on the bartender's face which means "no" in Japan). No large communal bath (ofuro/rotemburo). NOT an "onsen" hotel. Beautiful view of the golf course, mountains, etc. from the hotel rooms. But, not a scenic neighborhood when you drive out onto the streets.

Best Hotel for Honeymooners

The hotel is impressive. The facilites are ok although the Tv is not attach to a cable. It is ideal to family trips and honeymoons. It is clean and the neighborhood is friendly.

県外の知人からホテルの紹介を依頼され、泉区方面に行く予定もあり、たまに利用しているゴルフ場の隣にあることを思いだし料金も希望に合っていたので予約しました。部屋が広く、清潔で、景色も素晴らしいと喜ばれました。仙台ヒルズホテルを選んで正解でした。
