Good hotel for walking around town in Selfoss. Rooms are decent but you can hear noise from the street if you are facing that way. They have a spa (sauna and hot tub) but you have to walk through the lobby, the restaurant entrances to get there. They also close at 20:00. Breakfast was ok. Nothing fancy. There is a walking trail behind the hotel with great view of a church and the suspension bridge.

Definately would not return…

We are in our 70’s and were given a room which was on top floor as far away from lift as possible, asked to change to ground floor with no luck… Very narrow room with a scruffy balcony overlooking a very busy noisy roundabout - we tried having door open onto balcony for fresh air after traffic had died down but there was no door stop so it kept slamming shut. The only lift to that floor was faulty - one of the staff told us it needed attention Not enough room in the bathroom to swing a cat… Sink was teeny tiny and the shower water was scalding hot even on cold setting Tv was minuscule - see photo Bed was super comfie though Hotel is in good position to walk to restaurants etc
Our camper has a bigger bathroom…

We loved the food hall across the street and the nice restaurant across the street. With a bus tour, I recognize that it’s make the hotel dining options would be crowded. The room was well designed and we loved the comforts of home.

The room was comfortable and well equipped with two comfortable chairs, desk, a coffee maker, kettle, and a spacious bathroom. The lobby was very spacious as was the bar/restaurant with nice views.
