"We’ve stayed in 181 hotels all over Thailand in the last four years and track the quality of each hotel. We rate 24 hotels in Thailand as being exceptional, and of those, just 2 in Isaan are of the highest rating. Of the two, Lake House is the highest rated hotel we have stayed in.

"Having travelled to Phon Charoen area for the last 16 yrs I understand the hotel maybe out dated but I could not stay as the room was so dirty with animal (I'm guessing mouse) droppings around the bed and the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned for years. Will not book here again "
