Interlude in Provence

What a wonderful stay we had in our ChĂąteau Jonquier stone cottage gĂźte! It is ideally located as a base for exploring Provence on day trips — choose any direction! It is a tranquil spot in the countryside yet very close to the magical villages of SĂ©guret and Sablet, while being only 10 minutes from Vaison La Romaine with it’s incredible Roman ruins and myriad restaurants and shops. FrĂ©dĂ©ric was a warm and welcoming host, and responded quickly to any of our requests. We enjoyed every minute of our peaceful month-long interlude here! Merci, FrĂ©dĂ©ric!

Lovely place to stay. Ten minutes walk from the village of Seguret. Part of a large wine Chateau, but totally independent access and private. Nice terrace, good kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Perfect for a couple looking to enjoy the Provencal countryside.

Wir durften eine Woche in dem kleinen Haus Urlaub machen und haben es sehr genossen. Zentrale Lage von der man schöne AusflĂŒge unternehmen kann. Restaurants gibt es in seguret und auch in sablet super erreichbar. Der Vermieter ist super nett und hilfsbereit und winzer falls der wein mal ausgeht. Vielen Dank.

Die Wohnung liegt im Weingut. Man wird sehr herzlich empfangen. Man kann sich sehr gut erholen. Seguret ist ein toller Ort und zu Fuß erreichbar. Frederic macht auch sehr leckeren Wein.

A little piece of Paradise

We did so enjoy our stay at Chateau Jonquier. Frederic was so very kind and helpful. His wine tasting was such fun and his wine delicious. The gite is very centrally located for visiting the Vaucluse villages and for shopping in Vaison la Romaine. We hope to return for longer than a week! Would make one suggestion-would be nice to have a floor lamp in living area for reading. We look forward to returning for a longer stay in this lovely place.

Die Unterkunft ist sympathisch, wir haben uns wohlgefĂŒhlt.

Die Lage des FerienhĂ€uschens ist gĂŒnstig fĂŒr alle Weinliebhaber, die Wein verkosten und kaufen möchten. Der Wein des Weingutes Jonquier selbst ist von guter QualitĂ€t und schmeckt. Die Ruhe wird nur minimal gestört durch das GerĂ€usch der Autos auf der Landstraße. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, mit einem Hang zur Designereinrichtung, aber einfach, zweckmĂ€ĂŸig und auf das Notwendige beschrĂ€nkt. In den alten Mauern des traditionsreichen Chateaus fĂŒhlt man sich wohl. Eine Außenterrasse mit Möglichkeit zum Boulespielen und die Möglichkeit, direkt am Haus zu parken, tragen zum Komfort bei. Der junge Winzer und ein Mitarbeiter des Weingutes, der nebenan wohnt, sind sympathisch.
