Not a get a way at all

We booked with your company because we wanteda quiet,clean safe place to stay with our dogs. I payed in advance for what I thought to be a cozy cottage. Turns out to be a very dirty, smelly hotel room. Pets were welcome, but you could not leave in room unattended. Who goes on vacation and does not leave room? We ended up finding a last minute alternative where the pets were welcome to stay while the humans did short touristy things. I am beyond unhappy with this experience. It was nothing that we wanted or needed. I am requesting a refund of my money as we were unable to use this property.
