NJ shore trip
Upon arrival we had good communications with the host, allowing us to get into the unit a little earlier than the 4pm check in. The images of the exterior are different then what the place looks like. The unit is a back house on the property with the only access through a narrow driveway. The front house tenents have use of the driveway, which makes it difficult to bring large bags, coolers and Bikes to the unit. We kept the bikes on our car.
The unit is cute, and has a nice living area and kitchen. Bedrooms are small but with closets. (Bring hangers) Bathroom is large but needs alittle work. The AC cranks.
The unit was pretty clean. We normally do a walk through and light cleaning before getting comfortable. We had a problem with a broken box spring in the larger bedroom, that we couldn't figure out until the third day but once we did was replaced within a day.
The location is great, restaurants within a short walk. The beach is very close. Public bathroom on the board walk are also very close.. which helps with one bathroom. The parking passes are a huge help ( there is no free parking in the area). And the 6 beach tags saves you a ton of cash for beach access.($13 a day/pp at Seaside Heights)
All in all, we had a great vacation and enjoyed the place. Good for small families.
