Does the job of an overnight stay perfectly. Sure the decor & furniture could do with some TLC but for the price it’s more than adequate. The bedding was clean & comfortable & the room had everything you’d need provided. The staff were good very helpful. I’d stayed here before & won’t have any problem staying here again.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The building is in serious need of modernisation but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent pub atmosphere, good food and great selection of drinks. All the staff there were very helpful.

Sorry to say this but this hotel needs a good renovation the place is so dirty and the mould in the ceiling in the bathroom was disgusting I only stayed for 2 nights we were going to leave in the first night but we just put up with it as it was just a short visit the breakfast in the morning was terrible the sausage wasn’t cooked the bacon was burnt and the fried eggs looked like it had been cooked in the same pan as everything else the staff were friendly enough but as I said this hotel needs shut down and given a good clean

Happy with the room aat a fair price and the ease I got their from the station. Everything clean and well kept with the bathroom large with an excellent shower. Just a long walk with a few steps to the 30th & last room, at my age a room easier to get to would have been appreciated, but a minor complaint.

The bed was comfy. The hot water was only lukewarm so shower not good really. Bathroom tiling in poor condition with mould. Staff pleasant attitude.
