Carpet was stained and burned and mini fridge was frosted to the point of unusable. Lamp shades were cracked and falling off and coat hooks were pulled out of wall. Pool was disgusting and "murky" would not recommend swimming in it. The staff though was friendly and helpful and beyond the facility issues the room was clean.

Breakfast was bad choices waffles were hard muffins in wrapper were terrible. Breakfast was not kept up on milks for coffee not kept up on empty. Syrup for waffles thick like honey not good could not even keep bananas stocked up pool NOT heated cold. . Pool towels always empty fitness room not woeking elevator not work only one work. Pool area dirty wet socks on floor life perserver in pool straws on floor gum on floor trash all this in the pool area. Staff did ho beyond to help especially at the front desk.

Hotel was under renovation when we were there; gym was closed (they said we could use the one in the hotel next door) and one of the elevators was out of service. The first room we were assigned had a sagging mattress, so I asked for a different room. The TV in the second room didn't work, which didn't bother me too much, but then the bathroom door fell off the rail. The third room was ok... carpet had some stains but nothing was broken so I figured this would suffice. The guy at reception was very professional and accommodating... this is the first time I've ever had to switch rooms. It was a quick overnight stay, just passing through Scranton, but I don't know that I'd stay here again.

I read a review that 2 months ago someone complained about the closed gym, and broken elevator and hot tub. Still closed and broken. Someone needs to invest in this place before he whole thing breaks. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful and deserve better

Staff was good. Offered to upgrade us to 4th floor and kids were up slamming doors all night. Jacuzzi was not working, gym closed and only one elevator working. For a Marriott it was disappointing to say the least.
