Room was very small. I booked two room and they allocate both the rooms in different building. Leisure club lady staff was not cooperating . They should mention the leisure club capacity and room availability on the website.

The location is wonderful but this is a very old hotel. No elevators or porters so if you hace big bags and you are on a high floor then get ready to do come lifting. The staff are great and the food is good but limited in it's variety. The rooms are old and the bathrooms are basic and hot water is a 50/50. We had a family room which was a double and 2 singles but one bathroom so after the second person showered the last 2 had cold showers.

Sub zero daytime and overnight temperatures during our 2 night stay. One radiator to heat fairly large room. No heating in bathroom. Thankfully I had brought a plug in ceramic heater which helped bring room up to a decent temperature. However, when I wanted a shower last night, the water wasnt even lukewarm. On checking out, it seemed that the hotel was aware of the heating and no hot water issue and the reason it wasnt fixed was because their maintenance team dont work at weekends!!!! We would have to call the hotel prior to booking with them again to ensure that there are no heating issues.

Excellent position for access to Fort William and Ben Nevis. Outstanding room and breakfast. The bar was lovely and the staff were very helpful. An excellent hotel, I would recommend.
