The hotel is a good walkable location for accessing the town center and Schloss. Staff and check in were excellent. The rooms were spacious, modern, well decorated, and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The parking garage was inexpensive and there was plenty of spaces. That is the good. It was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32 centigrade. The room at check in was close to 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still close to 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow warm air. Front desk was not able to assist. We were forced to sleep in a hot room that never cooled over the course of the night. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature.

Amazing staff, very comfy room with aircon (great as it was v hot when we visited). Decent breakfast. However, the location of this hotel really is a distance away from the places you’re likely to want to go as a tourist, especially the schloss and old town. I walked in in the first evening and it took me 25 mins (admittedly I have short legs and it was hot!). The amazing staff were great at providing us with bus times, but there were only 2 per hour and it took 20 mins as went round the outskirts of town to get in. We started using E-scooters, great for adults as the cycle lanes are excellent, but no good for our teen as you need to be 18. So, great hotel but think carefully about the location - if you want to pop back in the day, that’s not so easy.

bad choice to stay

The hotel is in a so called "milking mode". The place is run down and needs a complete overhaul. The staff is friendly but completely overwhelmed. The AC was not working and the promised "technician" never showed up. The location of the hotel is really good and has potential but as said the place is not recommendable at the current conditions.

We found this property was lacking in cleanliness. We also had problems with the water - upon arrival around 10pm we did not have warm water from the faucet. The showers were also not hot.

Airconditioning! YEAH!

I lived in USA and for that reason LOVED the fact that this Hotel had AC in the room what really helped me sleeping at night. The hotel is just outside the main area, 8 minutes by bicycle, from the center and the castle. So not really walking distance. But with the bike very easy to do. Hotel it self was pretty clean but at check-in told us that because of Corona, there would NOT be daily housekeeping in the room what is weird because all other hotels did have it on our trip. The Cleaning person had forgotten to empty the trash can in the room and when we told the front desk to get it emptied, it was NOT taken care off. I would come back to this hotel in the Summer because of the AC!

Horrible and dirty hotel! Rude owner/manager!

No AC! No cleaning! No toalet paper! Even after several feedback and mails nothing improved! My worst 7 days in a hotel ever!!! I had to throw all the bed sheets and garbage out in the corridor to be taken seriously by the hotel! 1 and 2 night we spended 3-4 hours until 3 in the morning to kill all the mosquitoes in the rooms! Non I’m our 7 nights did we sleep well: it was 36 degrees inside with no working AC! Receptionist and owner/manager didn’t listen to my requests to clean the rooms! On the fifth night we got offer to change our rooms but it was too little too late! We left on 7th day! Do not underestimate the level of comfort of this hotel: zero zero zero zero -> one 0 for every claimed star! STAY AWAY OF THIS PLACE!!!

One night stay - big family rooms

The hotel is not so far from the city center. Our room was very nice - spacious, clean and comfortable. Only the receptionist was very unfriendly and even rude, which really surprised us. The girl on the next day was much nicer.

One night was enough

This hotel is hard to locate and really needs a car or taxi to get to a public transport is poor. Walking, notably from the station is terrible and the rear entrance is not signposted in any way. Anyway the hotel is spacious, rooms well appointed and the reception staff helpful. However we stayed one night and it was enough due to its difficult location.
