Schulenburg Ranch Retreat is surrounded by 27 acres of natural Texas countryside, including mature trees, native grasses, a fishing pond, and open rural landscapes.
As with any country property, occasional insects and wildlife are part of the natural environment. The home receives regular professional pest-control treatments and preventative maintenance.
Our pond aerator helps maintain water quality and fish health and may be audible from certain areas of the property.
We preserve the ranch’s natural character rather than maintaining a manicured resort-style landscape.
Water and Septic System
The farmhouse uses a private well with a water-softening system.
The property also operates on a private septic system. To keep everything functioning properly, please flush only toilet paper. Wipes, paper towels, feminine products, grease, and other non-flushable materials should be disposed of appropriately.
Guest Safety and Property Guidelines
For everyone’s comfort and safety:
* Children must be supervised outdoors, particularly near the pond, livestock, and natural terrain.
* Exterior security cameras monitor designated outdoor areas for property security. There are no cameras inside the home or in private guest areas.
* All guests and daytime visitors count toward the property’s maximum occupancy of 14.
* Weddings, receptions, parties, and organized events are not permitted on the property.
We welcome families and groups visiting the area for weddings, reunions, and other celebrations held at nearby venues.
