Awesome home in Schleusingen with sauna

This cozy and comfortably furnished vacation home is located on the edge of the forest in an undisturbed location. Directly in front of the door you have a small natural pond for a refreshing bath, for example after a sauna session. For cozy hours there is a fireplace in the living room. The attic conversion with bedrooms 2 and 3 and the sauna have a low ceiling height and slopes.



Here you vacation in the middle of the Thuringian Forest Nature Park and Biosphere Reserve Vessertal as well as south of the Rennsteig with its high trail. Well-marked hiking trails with views of a magnificent mountain panorama invite you to go hiking, biking as well as horseback riding or carriage rides. Go on discovery trips to Erfurt, Eisennach and Weimar as well as to the Goethe and university town Ilmenau. Also worthwhile are the Coburg region, the glassblowing town of Lauscha and the toy town of Sonneberg.



The immediate vicinity has cultural and historical sights in store for you. For example, take a look at the Bertholdsburg in Schleusingen, the Veste Heldburg or the Henneberg Museum Kloster Veßra. Bathing areas with relaxing wellness offers in each Oberhof, Bad Colberg-Heldburg and Rodach. If you are traveling with children, it is best to go to one of the fun pools in Hildburghausen or Suhl.
