Really nice hotel - staff were friendly and helpful - the rooms big and clean - facilities fantastic - worth staying for the sommer card which provides access to various activities - we just found the bed a little too firm for us

Take payment early

Great hotel and perfect for the slopes. Unfortunately booked as pay on arrival but they take payment 1 month before directly off your credit card. So you lose the key points too. Very poor that thus website pass on the sensitive data.

The hotel is very close to the Pilani gondola. An easy walk even in all your ski gear and carrying your equipment. It is also very near to other restaurants and bars and only a few minutes walk to shopping. We found it very easy to get around the town without transportation and had a fantastic stay. The room was exactly what we needed and had even more space than we anticipated from the pictures. Additionally, the staff was fantastic. Very willing to recommend train options for our return to Salzburg and called a taxi to get us to the train station at no additional cost! As for the cleaning staff, they were very good and thoughtful. Our daughter had brought with her some very special stuffed comfort toys and they took special care of them during cleaning. It made her SO happy.

Best ski hotel

This is a large, efficiently run hotel right opposite the ski slopes and almost next to the main ski lift. It's also directly across the street from an enormous Apres Ski 'palace'. The hotel has a nice rooftop, large spa area and great places to sit and relax overlooking the slopes. Breakfast was also great for a day of skiing ahead.

Friendly clean hotel. Breakfast was really tasty. Staff were good. Had buffet dinner one evening which was surprisingly good. Fantastic location near gondola with access directly into the ski locker a huge bonus.

Great Accommodation in Schladming Centre

Exceptional. Right in the centre and close to the main lift. Service very good. Buffet breakfast and dinner included. Comfortable rooms but a couple more pillows would have been better. Its the second year we have stayed here.

A good 'modern' hotel with sound basic facilities; meal times strictly limited, food good ordinary. 2km from bahnhof [by which there was a guesthof with excwellent food at low prices.- worth the walk] Rail journey to St. Michaels link to surrounding places could tale over 2 hours. Very probably excellent centre for ski-ing; ok for walkng out of season. Helpful staff with good english [How lazy cvan you get /] A good place to stay but in the wrong place.

Kitchen smell on room corridors, dining area is connected to open kitchen and smelly. Food selection is below 4* hotel level, and food quality is not that high. Coffee is awful, from a generic machine, no real espresso machine in the hotel. There were no coffee makers in rooms. Rooms were supplied with glasses but cleaning ladies did not bother to replace or clean them unless asked which is annoying. This hotel needs a serious upgrade regarding ventilation and service. Sauna was nice and new, but also no drinks or fruit there, just water and basic towels, while they charge for robes to hotel guests. Rooms are spacious with good beds and bedding. Bathroom items are also missing, with a basic soap, shampoo/conditioner. This is not a 4* hotel standard at all. Lower level than basic Ibis for everything except the room size.
