The rooms are always very clean, with all the expected hospitality items. There's usually plenty of space in the hotel car park so no worries about parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals are excellent, our favourite being breakfast when there are lots of options available. We have already booked our next stay!

Beautiful location for the wedding we went to. The food and staff were excellent. However, the hotel is in the process of refurbishment and some rooms are definitely better than others. The staff work really hard but they could definitely do with a few more of them. Overall a lovely stay but for the room price of approximately £200 per nights I would expect a little more in my room than I got.

We loved our stay here. They are in the middle of renovations and we paid for a cheaper room that hadn't been renovated fully yet. We were a little worried it would be grotty or quite dated since the pictures on the website for those rooms weren't great, but the rooms were actually pretty nice. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are amazing with breathtaking views. The restaurant is great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Also it's lovely to see all the birds about the property especially the swallows who are constantly swooping around in the Carpark area

Location and views beautiful, garden really well maintained and lovely. Breakfast excellent, staff very helpful, room very spacious and comfortable On the down side but only minimal ,evening food while ok was a little over priced Room lacked a few finishing touches that could be remedied, ie. Toilet roll holder needed fixing properly, hooks on back of doors falling out, lack of toiletries, wall light on crooked, as I said only mini al but would have given 5 star if not for these.
