The accommodations were beautiful and above and beyond. The views were stunning. I would not hesitate to book another stay. The location is very close to downtown Highlands. It is also only a few minutes to an excellent Italian restaurant. This house welcomes you and provides a very relaxing atmosphere.

I must say, this property was by far the most beautifully decorated and most spectacular I have ever visited. As a Host myself, I was blown away by the attention to details to make their guests comfortable and accomodating! The Owner/Host was very quick to respond thoughout our visit and check-in was super easy! I would 100% recommend!!!

This house is amazing! Looks like a dream house! It has everything you need & the host was very prompt with communications. The kitchen is well stocked. Lines are so comfortable. That porch! It’s beautiful. It’s the kind of house you never want to leave.

My husband and I loved staying at Dragonfly Cabin. The cabin is beautiful, close to Clayton and Highlands, is well appointed with everything you could need and is situated on such a scenic property. Every detail is perfect. Watching the deer while sipping coffee in the morning on the front porch was a perfect start to our day. We definitely plan to return and highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to stay in the Sky Valley area.

Perfection!

My husband and I were looking to spend a long weekend escaping the heat of SC in a relaxing location close to The Highlands and Clayton. Dragonfly Cabin checked all of the boxes! The weather was perfect (high 70’s) and the cabin was well appointed, absolutely beautiful, and so comfortable. Julie was an excellent hostess and has truly thought of everything to make her cabin comfortable. One of the best accommodations we’ve experienced. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful farmhouse

This was our second time staying at this home. It's in a wonderful location and very relaxing. The front porch is peaceful and great for a quiet nap or for sitting with family/friends. The beds are extremely comfortable and the host has thoughtfully provided everything you need. The location is close to Highlands, Clayton and Franklin. A wonderful place to stay.

Everything about this cabin is amazing! Located just near Sky Valley, you get all the amenities but with the feel of privacy. The cabin is beautifully decorated and comes equipped with every you could possibly think of to make your stay feel like you’re at home. The view is breathtaking! We came during peak fall foliage and the view from the porch did not disappoint! This was by far the best cabin we’ve ever stayed in and hope to stay here again!

Fantastic weekend near Highlands, NC

If anyone is looking for a place to stay near Highlands, NC look no farther than Dragonfly Cabin at Scaly Mt. The pictures on line are great but truly don’t do justice to this magnificent property. We would go back for another stay whenever possible. It is meticulously decorated and impeccably clean. From the moment we walked in to the property we felt at home. It is obvious the restoration of Dragonfly Cabin was a labor of love, and it shows in the attention to detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is a 10 out of 10. It was hard to leave but we will be back.

Lovely and Fun

Nicest property we have stayed at in the highlands/franklin area and we have been visiting 3-4 times a year for 5 years to be near family. The host is very helpful but considerate of guest’s privacy. Everything you might need is provided. Very peaceful and relaxing, with opportunities for many things to do. loved our sta.
